About this Facial Cupping ...
Cupping therapy, also known as Chinese cupping, is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups are placed onto the skin to create a suction to lift the skin, sculpting and toning the contours of the face and brightening the skin.
Cupping massage has also been developed to clear blockages in meridians. The concept of meridians, invisible energy pathways, coursing throughout the body is commonly used in most traditional Asian medical practises.
The cups may be made of glass, bamboo or silicone. You will be using silicone cups on this course. A gentle, non-invasive therapy using small suction cups to stimulate the facial muscles, boost circulation, promote lymphatic drainage and encourage collagen production.
