This Indian Head Massage course is open to any individual who wants to practice the traditional art of Head Massage and invloves treatment of the head, face, shoulders and neck with the client in the seated position.
We are now offering the Theory element via online lectures, the structure will be as follows:
Part 1) Lectures via Zoom covering the Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Theory of Indian Head Massage.
Part 2) Practical lectures at the school covering the Indian Head Massage techniques and routine, exam preparation and hair oils.
As a bonus this Indian head Massage course will also include training in the use of traditional Indian Hair oils and how to incorporate them in a typical treatment.
It is taught by professional and practising massage therapists who are all trained above the taught level and who are passionate about the subject. Each Indian Head Massage course lecturer will impart a wealth of information from their own massage practice as well as using accelerated training methods and NLP techniques to facilitate your learning of the subject.

There are no formal prerequsites for this Indian head Massage course and both beginners as well as those holding prior massage / body therapy training are welcome to enrol onto this course.
Please note: to become a member of the FHT, CThA or other association you may be required to hold a Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. This may also be the case should you wish to consider donating your Indian Head Massage skills for Charity Events.
Indian Head Massage Course Length...
This Indian head Massage course is taught as a fast track and intensive program.
It is covered over a total period of 3 consequtive days with a break of about 1 month for revision and completion of case studies before the final exam.
There is home study and case history assignments which have to be completed in conjunction with the formal lectures and practicals.

A practical examination lasting 30 x minutes (by a visiting external VTCT (ITEC) Examiner)
15 question Multiple Choice paper
4 x Case Studies (thorough guidance given during lectures)
10 x Additional Treaments (in the form of a treatment log)
Your final exam takes place 4-6 weeks after the last day of your course. This date is confirmed for each course/group before starting the course.
