This Baby Massage course (Instructors Course) is ideal for any practitioner who has prior kowledge in basic Anatomy & Physiology. It is also known as Infant & Child Massage.
This course is also open to practising massage therapists as well as, Midwifes, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Sports Science practitioners.
Our Baby Massage & Infant & Child Massage course involves the training in the application of Baby Massage and how to instruct parents and carers on how to massage their baby.

Baby Massage Course Prerequsites ...
Students must hold an Ofqual accredited Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology - or equivalent, or higher.
Without an accredited Diploma, you may be able to attend the course, but you will not receive an FHT or IICT accredited certificate. This may affect your ability to obtain professional insurance.
You will be required to bring a Baby Massage Doll which will enable you to learn the baby massage routine. These can be purchased from Touch Needs (www.touchneeds.com)
If you do not have an accreddited Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, then it is possible for you to do this course, but you will NOT be able to join the FHT.
Before booking - you should make sure that you are able to gain Professional Insurance from reputable insurance provider on completion of the course.
When submitting your Student Details form, you must also supply us with copies of your existing accredited qualifications to receive the course certificate. Supplying this information too late may result in your certificate being printed without the FHT and IICT logos. Additional charges may be incurred to print the correct Certificate.
What does accredited mean?
Accredited qualifications are those that are reviewed, recognised and monitored by regulatory bodies in order to make sure that they meet specific criteria and quality standards.
If you have arrived in the UK from overseas and have existing qualifications, those qualifications may meet an acceptable standard in the UK. NARIC can provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to UK qualifications with a document called a ‘Statement of Comparability’.
You can also request an 'English Language Assessment' document, which may help determine your current level of English.
If you are unsure of your current course qualifications, please call the office to find out if your current qualifications can count towards this diploma. We will do our best to find out ways in which we can help you to successfully complete this course.

Baby Massage Theory Assessment
In class assessment and feedback
Variety of short answer and multiple choice questions
Baby Massage Practical Assessment
Ongoing assessment of teaching practice during course
Completion of case studies based on teaching a course to a group of 4 parents (or more) and babies (done away from the school)
Completion of a case study on private tuition of baby massage
All work must be completed within four months of the course date.
