About this Thai Massage Course ...

This Thai Yoga Massage course is accredited by VTCT  (level 3 qualification).

For those already with a Level 3 Diploma in Massage, it's also accredited by the FHT as a CPD Diploma course.

It provides the firm foundation for the professional practice of Thai Massage massage therapy in the UK.

Ancient Thai Massage is a unique form of Body Therapy that incorporates Hata Yoga, Reflexology, Meridian work and Acupressure.  It is also sometimes referred to as "Thai Yoga Massage".

Centuries ago, a dynamic bodywork therapy based on Yoga and Ayurveda was born in the temples of Thailand. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage - also called Nuad Boran - and widely known as Traditional Thai Massage, (Nuad Phaen Boran) - the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of passive Yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the ''Sen Lines'', the body's energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.

The therapeutic basis of Thai Yoga Massage is rooted in the Indian healing tradition of Ayurveda;  the word Ayurveda derives from two sanskrit words: Ayur, meaning "life" and Veda , meaning "knowledge" thus, this science of living functions as a guide to the proper maintenance of life
.
