Course Requirements

As a beginner-level, there are no formal prerequisites. An interest in the human body and a desire to start a new profession or career are beneficial.

The course involves both written and computer-based work, so students are required to have access to a PC or laptop.

The level of English recommended for overseas students is IELTS level 6-7 or equivalent, but this is not a strict requirement.

Applicants must be over 18.

The ITEC Anatomy & Physiology course examination is completed online from your own home under strict examination conditions.

The exam is designed to assess your knowledge and understanding of the key anatomy, physiology and pathology topics covered during your course. It allows you to demonstrate that you have developed the required theoretical foundation to support safe and effective practice within massage, bodywork and complementary therapy.

As this is an online examination, students must ensure they have a suitable device, a stable internet connection and a quiet environment where they can complete the exam without interruption. Full exam instructions will be provided in advance so that students understand what is required before starting.
