The Intraoral Buccal Massage Course at the London School of Massage is designed for qualified therapists who already have experience in facial massage and are ready to advance into high-level aesthetic treatments. This specialist training focuses on intraoral massage, oral massage and facial sculpting massage, equipping you with the skills to deliver visible lifting, contouring and rejuvenation results.
Intraoral buccal massage is one of the most advanced facial sculpting techniques available, working both externally and inside the mouth to target deeper facial structures. By accessing muscles that cannot be reached through traditional facial massage, this technique enhances definition, improves facial tone and creates a naturally lifted, sculpted appearance — making it a premium treatment within the aesthetics industry.
This course is specifically tailored for therapists who already understand the foundations of facial massage and want to elevate their practice with advanced intraoral massage techniques. The focus is purely on aesthetic outcomes, allowing you to confidently offer treatments centred around facial relaxation, contouring and skin rejuvenation.
At the London School of Massage, our training is practical, structured and results-driven. You will learn how to seamlessly integrate facial sculpting massage with intraoral techniques to create high-value treatments that stand out in a competitive market.

Intraoral Buccal Sculpting Massage is an advanced facial massage technique that works externally on the face and internally inside the mouth through the cheeks. It focuses on the facial muscles, jaw area and lower face to support relaxation, facial contouring and a temporary more sculpted appearance.
Intraoral means inside the mouth. During intraoral buccal massage, the therapist uses gloved hands to work carefully inside the cheeks while maintaining hygiene, consent, communication and professional standards.
This course is suitable for qualified therapists who already have facial massage experience and have completed the London School of Massage Natural Face Lift Massage course. It is ideal for therapists wanting to add advanced aesthetic facial massage techniques to their practice.
No. This is an advanced CPD course and is not suitable for complete beginners. Students must already hold a recognised Level 3 Massage qualification or equivalent and must have completed the LSM Natural Face Lift Massage course.
Learners must hold an Ofqual-accredited Level 3 Diploma in Massage or equivalent that includes Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology and must have completed the London School of Massage Natural Face Lift Massage course.
You will learn intraoral buccal massage theory, facial and oral cavity anatomy, hygiene and infection control, glove use, informed consent, stop signals, contraindications, pressure control, internal cheek techniques and how to combine intraoral work with external facial massage.
Yes. Part of the treatment is performed inside the mouth using gloves. The therapist works through the inner cheek to access facial muscles that are difficult to reach through external massage alone.
The treatment focuses on the cheeks, jaw, mouth area and lower face. Students learn how to work with structures such as the buccinator, masseter, orbicularis oris and other facial muscles while avoiding sensitive areas.
Intraoral work requires strict hygiene, including clean preparation, glove use, safe hand positioning, avoidance of irritated tissue and clear infection-control procedures. Treatment should not be carried out where there are active oral infections, ulcers or other contraindications.
This course is focused on aesthetic facial sculpting, relaxation and advanced facial massage. It does not qualify therapists to diagnose or treat TMJ disorders, dental conditions or medical jaw problems.
Intraoral buccal massage may support a temporary more relaxed, lifted or sculpted appearance by working with facial tension, muscle tone and soft tissue mobility. It should not be presented as a surgical, injectable or permanent face-lifting treatment.
No. There are no formal exams. Students are assessed through in-class observation, supervised practical work and tutor feedback. A CPD certificate is issued when the required competencies have been met.
Qualified therapists may integrate intraoral buccal massage into their existing facial massage, beauty, spa or wellbeing practice after completing the course, subject to appropriate insurance, professional scope of practice and safe clinical judgement.
