Table Thai Massage is a practical, hands-on training course for qualified massage therapists who want to learn how to safely apply Thai Yoga Massage techniques on a massage table. This Table Thai Massage course introduces students to the origins, principles and practical application of Thai-style assisted stretching, acupressure and rhythmic compression without the need to work on the floor.
The course combines theory with practical application, covering client preparation, contraindications, safe body mechanics and a structured Thai massage routine performed on a massage couch. Students will learn how to use body weight, stretching and pressure techniques to support flexibility, mobility, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
Important note: Traditional Table Thai Massage is performed fully clothed to protect the client’s skin and allow safe assisted stretching. If Table Thai techniques are combined with oil massage, careful draping must always be used to preserve the client’s modesty, dignity and comfort.
This Table Thai Massage course gives therapists the practical skills and confidence to deliver Thai-inspired assisted stretching, acupressure and compression techniques on a massage table, making it a useful addition to an existing massage or bodywork practice.
There are no formal exams for this Table Thai Massage course.
In-class assessment and instructor feedback - ongoing evaluation of practical skills with real-time feedback to support learning and development. A CPD Certificate will be issued if the instructor believes the required competencies have been met.
