This cupping massage course explores the use of suction cups to lift soft tissue, encourage local circulation, support tissue mobility and help release areas of muscular tension.
The course combines theory with practical application, teaching students the history, benefits, contraindications and modern clinical uses of cupping. Students will learn how to apply static cupping, flash cupping, cupping massage and cupping combined with stretching and joint mobilisation, while maintaining safe practice and professional client care.
This Cupping Massage Therapy course gives therapists the practical skills and confidence to use dry cupping safely and effectively as part of a professional massage treatment, helping support soft tissue mobility, relaxation and client wellbeing.
There are no formal exams for this Cupping Therapy course.
In-class assessment and instructor feedback - ongoing evaluation of practical skills with real-time feedback to support learning and development. A CPD Certificate will be given if the instructor believes the required competencies have been met.

To receive an BCMA, IGCT and IICT accredited certificate, you will need to hold an OFQUAL-accredited Level 3 Diploma in Massage (or equivalent) that includes Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
Students who do not currently hold a valid massage qualification may still attend this course for personal or professional development. However, in this case, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued instead of an accredited course certificate.
This is an in-person, hands-on practical course, taught at LSM training venues, with theory plus supervised practice on the day.
