Oils are typically used by inhalation (for example, via a diffuser) and/or topical application (always diluted in a carrier oil), often alongside massage. As a qualified Aromatherapist, you get to support clients with relaxation, stress management and overall wellbeing through tailored essential oil blends and professional treatment, often building strong long-term relationships and repeat bookings. It’s a career that can fit around your lifestyle—whether you choose self-employment, spa work, or combining aromatherapy with massage—and it offers clear opportunities to specialise, increase your skills through CPD, and develop a loyal client base.
